Compact Rifle Magazine Pouch

Customizable Front MOLLE Configuration

The pouch can be ordered with either a single front MOLLE row or a double front MOLLE row.

Loop Velcro is included on both configurations because it forms part of the flap closure system. A front panel without loop Velcro is not available on this model.

The flap is installed through the pouch’s shock cord system and can be removed by reweaving the cord. Should the flap be removed, the selected MOLLE rows remain usable for attaching compatible equipment.

Flap and Body Retention

A removable hook-and-loop flap closes over the magazine to provide dependable retention during movement. The covered opening also helps limit the amount of dirt, leaves and other debris that can enter the pouch during field use.

This makes the SHORTY Flap Retention model a practical choice for reconnaissance, hunting, rural operations and movement through heavily forested terrain.

Adjustable shock cord applies additional tension around the magazine body. The retention level can be increased or reduced to suit the magazine being carried and the user’s preferred draw resistance.

Multi-Caliber Compatibility

The Pro-Fusion SHORTY Rifle Mag Pouch is intended for compact rifle magazines, including:

20-Round 5.56mm Magazines

20-Round 7.62x51mm NATO Magazines

20-Round 7.62x51mm PMAG® Magazines

Select 10-Round Short-Action Bolt-Rifle Magazines

Compatible short-action bolt-rifle magazines may include those designed for cartridges such as .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor.

This pouch is not intended for standard 30-round 5.56mm, 5.45mm or 7.62x39mm magazines. Customers carrying full-length magazines should select one of our standard Pro-Fusion Rifle Mag Pouches instead.

It is also not designed for long-action rifle magazines used with cartridges such as .300 Winchester Magnum or .338 Lapua Magnum.

Magazine dimensions can vary significantly between manufacturers and rifle platforms. Customers should confirm the dimensions of their magazines before ordering.

Flex-Lok MOLLE Straps

LOF Flex-Lok MOLLE attachment straps are included with every pouch.

The straps weave directly through compatible MOLLE or PALS platforms, creating a secure attachment without requiring separate clips or mounting hardware.

Advanced Textiles & CNC Automation

Pro-Fusion pouches are manufactured in-house using CNC robotic sewing technology for repeatable stitching and consistent construction.

X50 500 denier CORDURA® laminate combines a durable exterior with a non-stretch laminated backing and an integrated Kevlar/Aramid X-weave. Reinforced edges help resist fraying and separation without adding unnecessary layers of material.

Internal HDPE keeps the pouch body open and supported when empty, allowing the magazine to be returned to the pouch more easily.

Due to the high demand for our products and strict in house manufacturing we have limited stock available and many of our products are made to order. If your order is in stock it will be picked and shipped right away. If it needs to be manufactured, lead times may apply.
